Grainger Mystery Cove 380 Catamaran for sale by Owner: location: Panama (cruising)

S/V 'Crocodile Rock' has undergone a major refit and conversion to a power catamaran. She is 12 meters x 7 meters with 3 cabins. The 2 forward cabins each have a queen size berth and a single; the aft cabin is a large double. The salon will easily seat 8 for dining. She has a very large cockpit and twin boarding/swim platforms; 14 ft dinghy, snorkeling gear, and all the standard safety equipment. With twin 70 HP Suzuki outboards, she cruises at 8 to 10 knots; The objective of the conversion being more time in the islands and less time offshore traveling.

All cabinet doors are plastic for easy cleaning As part of the 2014 refit, all sailing hardware, bow beam, keels, & rudders were removed. The sterns were customized to a power boat profile, adding buoyancy, dynamic lift, heavy duty transoms, and larger swim platforms.

The list of new equipment is extensive. The cockpit, 3x2 mts (10x6.5 ft) plus seating and the interior spaces are much larger than other cats in this size range, including berths and dining for 8. The entire vessel is of composite construction (including interior) for strength and light weight. “Crocodile Rock” is a large and very comfortable platform for economical coastal cruising areas such as the Pacific Northwest, Sea of Cortez, Panama islands, East coast of USA and the Bahamas. She really is quite unique.

Note: in the tropics, we shower outside on the swim platform
