S/V Paloma is a 1994 Miami based Lagoon 37 TPI catamaran SOLD!!

This Boat Owner requires financial settlement only ... trades will not be considered!!

S/V Paloma is 1994 Lagoon 37 TPI. This is a three-cabin owner’s version, never-chartered boat built by the legendary Tillotson Pearson yard in Rhode Island. She is your perfect bug out bluewater sailing catamaran: surefooted, responsive and seakindly. Preferred by liveaboards as a long distance cruiser with exceptional quality in her manufacture. She is easily sailed on all points. For a cruising cat of this size her performance, comfort and storage capabilities are hard to beat. She will point inside of 40 degrees!

The Lagoon 37 was introduced in 1993 following the success of the Lagoon 42 in the US charter market. She draws from a long lineage of great multihull designs and continues the collaboration of Jeanneau of France, and TPI (American). With the same designers and builders as the forerunner model and targeting the same market, these boats have achieved cult status among catamaran sailors. Their pointing ability (40 degrees), and comfort aboard are legendary. A French design, built in the USA by TPI in Rhode Island, they have become a very sought after catamaran.

Sails are in very serviceable condition. We sail her almost every weekend on Biscayne bay and in the Atlantic ocean. She is sail-ready today and can be cruise-ready for your adventure with a modest amount of work.

The main salon contains a large inside dining table with a c-shaped settee. Steps down into the port hull lead into the galley, which is open at the top to the salon. The twin stainless steel sinks are inboard at the bottom of the steps and facing the salon with storage below and a work surface beside them and forward. Opposite and outboard of the sinks is a 3-burner propane stove and oven with work surfaces on either side and both storage cabinets and drawer storage below the countertops. There is also shelf storage above this area. Forward of the stove work area are the double, side opening refrigeration and freezer units. Forward of galley is a double stateroom with hanging locker and settee. Aft of the galley is large head and shower unit with excellent engine access under the shower seat. The starboard hull has an identical double forward cabin with a smaller head and shower unit just aft. Amidships is the navigation station and electrical panel. Aft is third double cabin also with storage, hanging locker and settee. The salon and cabins are brightly lit and well ventilated. The interior is paneled in teak, has vinyl liners and teak and holly cabin soles. There is 6 foot 4 inch standing headroom.
