The S/V "Andromede" is a Catana 42 cruising Catamaran. She was built in 1991 and designed by Lock Crowther, the pioneering and one of the most influential multihull designers. Catana has always be synonym stability, safety and performance and this is why I could always trust her during my 5 years cruise around the world. Her two retractable dagger boards have proved extremely useful in a great variety of situations. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious (sleeps 10), and with lots of stowage space, inside and outside. It has large cockpit with ample seating and a table and twin wheel steering locations that allow for a good all-round view. Foredeck has large trampoline area forward of a rigid deck. Andromede is currently in a dry dock in Greece (Ionian sea) for the winter season, waiting to resume sailing next spring with her current owner, until a new one comes along.
