The Gemini 3400 added molded transom step and adjustable underhung rudders. Either inboard or outboard engine. Semi-circular hulls and full transom offer maximum load-carrying with good performance and a comfortable ride. The easily-adjusted centerboards go almost unnoticed in the interior. Boards up she draws a mere 18 inches. With board down she grips the water for windward work. Under sail five degrees is the normal heel; at anchor or while motoring, perfectly flat. Wheel steering with molded pilothouse for protection and lowering windows for visibility.

Construction	Molded hull and deck with large single interior mold over the bridgedeck coming back from the forward bulkhead to the aft lockers. Glassed into the bridgedeck prior to lifting. Hull and deck are mechanically and chemically bonded with a polyester putty and bolts and backing nuts every four inches with a double gunwhale guard over the bond. Hull is laminate of woven roving and matt with polyester resin over an initial layer of gel coat with vinylester resin and a veil of fiberglass fabric for blister protection. Deck has half inch end grain balsa sandwich on the foredeck, around cockpit and across the cabin top. Deck fitting are drilled through solid glass.
