Designed by the world renowned Van Peteghem and Lauriot Prevost (VPLP). The Pro Kennex 420 model is basically a Pro Kennex 445 with shorter transoms. Same molds used, same hulls, interior, layout, width, installations, sail plan, everything the same as a Kennex 445.

She is one of the widest catamaran of its range, this width is usually found only in 50 foot or larger catamarans. Catamaran safety and stability is given by its width! She is light, strong, and durable, three conditions that can only be found using foam + fiberglass + vacuum. There is no wood, plywood or balsa anywhere in the superstructure (deck, hulls, bulkheads, reinforcements) of this boat. Wood and plywood was ONLY used in the interior furniture.
