Lagoon 42 TPI Catamarans For Sale

Built by Tillotson Pearson of Rhode Island, this model was introduced in 1991 and that year was dubbed “Sailing Multi-hull” and overall “Boat of the Year” by Sailing World Magazine. These are legendary boats and are not to be confused with the later French-built Lagoon models.
Of note to North American sailors, boats built in Rhode Island by TPI (the builders of J-boats) are usually free of import duties and can be chartered in US waters. The hulls and deck were also built using TPI’s SCRIMP resin infusion method yielding a light, strong, durable composite structure.
