The Maine Cat 30 is arguably one of the best pocket cruising catamarans ever built. These boats are in class by themselves, delivering the promise of real high performance multihull sailing. The Maine Cat 30 is a simple live aboard cruiser for weekend getaways or the cruise of a lifetime. Known as the Swiss Army Knife of Pocket Cruising Boats she is built from the highest quality marine materials which produce a strong, yet lightweight composite.
A Maine Cat is unsinkable. Three large watertight compartments coupled with the foam core construction provide over 11,000 pounds of reserve buoyancy.
Powered by twin long-shaft engines with hydraulic power trim and lift–quiet power with superb maneuverability. The Maine Cat 30 has variable shallow draft 24in for Florida waters when your gunk-holing or snugging up to the beach, 5ft with the board down when beating to windward.

| Accommodations | The master stateroom berth located on the starboard side is 56" wide and 6'--8" long with a 4' overhead above the mattress. Amidships is a counter and dresser with a solid cherry hanging storage cabinet above. Outboard of the daggerboard trunk is the hanging locker. The head is huge with a Lavac toilet, 20 gallon holding tank, vanity, sink and shower with pressurized water. The port hull has a good size single berth forward that is 44" wide and 6 Ft 8 inches long. You'll find the galley amidships with a double stainless steel sink, Isotherm 12-volt refrigerator and most importantly, 12' of counter space. Aft is a table that may be used for dining or as a navigation table with an overhead cherry cabinet. This table also converts to a second double berth the same size as the master berth. |
