Since 1986, Naval Force 3 has been building original multihulls, including the Challenge 30.2, a transportable trimaran with folding arms.

The shipyard has been managed by Philippe Joneau since 2011, with Jean-Luc Boudon at the helm of the workshop.

Based in La Rochelle, in a 1,500 m² building directly overlooking the Grand Yachts dock and its 150-ton lift, the company has long developed services around its construction activities.

Boat repairs, modifications, and optimization are part of our daily routine, while our dry dock uses a large portion of our 3,500 m² site. The company has all the tools and handling equipment necessary to manage your project.

On the construction side, the shipyard has mastered epoxy-based composites, and open-mold manufacturing combines so-called “traditional” manufacturing techniques.

Naval Force 3 has expanded its capabilities with new production methods known as “Infusion” or “RTM,” which are cleaner and better suited for our operators.

Naval Force 3 is the builder of the Trimaran Challenge 30.2, a folding, road-transportable trimaran ranging from 26 to 33 feet.

The company is committed to a Sustainable Development approach for better protection of the environment and people.

We sort our waste from the company’s collective activities and the construction of our boats. We go further by sorting our waste: industrial waste with the “Blue Wave,” the CDA’s black bin for the dining hall, and yellow for recyclable waste.

In early 2015, we joined the “BIOTOP” association to further our waste recycling efforts, and we have been certified “ENVOL” since 2016.

Since 2012, Naval Force 3 has held the “Vague Bleue” label, and we are working to protect our employees by building a dedicated storage facility for our nautical construction products.

Since 2014, Naval Force 3 has been a member of the LR2N “La Rochelle Nautic Network” association of nautical professionals.

In 2018, we joined the Atlantic Cluster Nautique et Naval in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
