The Privilege 37 is a 37-foot cruising catamaran designed by Marc Lombard and built by Jeantot Marine (later Alliaura Marine) between 1995 and 2003. It features a solid fiberglass construction with a PVC foam core in the hulls and coachroof, providing a balance between strength and weight reduction. The catamaran has an overall length of 11.17 meters (36 feet 8 inches), a beam of 6.56 meters (21 feet 6 inches), and a draft of approximately 1.2 meters (3 feet 11 inches). The displacement is around 6,500 kg (14,330 lbs), and the mast height is approximately 15 meters (49 feet 3 inches) .

The rig is a masthead sloop with a fully battened mainsail of about 48 m² (517 ft²) and a genoa of approximately 32 m² (344 ft²), providing a total sail area of around 80 m² (861 ft²) .

Propulsion is typically provided by twin inboard diesel engines, commonly 27 hp each, with saildrive or shaft drive configurations. Fuel capacity is approximately 180 liters (47.5 gallons), and water capacity ranges from 400 to 470 liters (105 to 124 gallons), depending on the specific model and modifications.

The layout generally includes three double cabins and two heads, accommodating up to six people. The galley is located in the port hull, and the saloon offers good headroom and natural light.
