“Ohana Nui” is a great example of the very popular Lagoon 410-S2 model. The Lagoon 410-S2 combines aesthetics and functionality into a wonderful cruising catamaran for a couple or family. Ohana Nui is fully optioned for comfortable full-time liveaboard with many upgrades to make her self sufficient. This design is optimized to be manageable for short-handed sailing.

The 410 features a comfortable salon with the Lagoon trademark “Pillbox Windows” which offer excellent all-around visibility. To port is the navigation station with instruments and radios. The oval-shaped table and generous seating at the settee are the focal points of the salon. The large and well-appointed galley to starboard has an induction cooktop, propane stove and oven, fridge, and freezer.

There is ample counter top space. Facing aft, with easy access to the cockpit table, are the sinks, microwave, and serving bench tops. All her cabins have scenic hull windows, which were introduced to the S2 model, which give a feeling of light and space. The multiple overhead hates with OceanAir screens and shades ensure fantastic ventilation.

The Lagoon 410 is a 40’7” (12.37m) cruising catamaran designed by VPLP Design (France). She was built between 1997 and 2006 by Lagoon (France) with 283 hulls completed.

The Lagoon 410 S2 Catamaran is an updated version of the Lagoon 410. After launching more than one hundred Lagoon 410’s since its first introduction in 1997, Lagoon introduced the Lagoon 410 S2. Modifications to the Lagoon 410 were made in many areas: ergonomic, comfort, maneuverability and more standard equipment.

Ohana Nui is US Import Duty Paid and available for showings in beautiful St Augustine, FL.

By Andrew @ The Multihull Company

Andrew grew up sailing his father’s Hobie Cat and transitioned that into a long career as a USCG licensed captain in the yachting industry. Working his way up from his college years as a sailing instructor to a position as a private yacht captain aboard a Gunboat 57, he brings with him a comprehensive knowledge of catamarans and the cruising life. His career has taken him from his home waters of Cape Fear, through the waters of the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Central, South American, and the South Pacific Islands. During that time, he worked as a charter yacht captain and a professional delivery skipper specializing in catamarans. Andrew has operated a wide variety of multihulls, everything from old Lagoons to brand new Outremers and most things in between. This experience has given him an extensive first-hand knowledge of many different makes and models and a solid understanding of their various strengths and weaknesses.
