S/V Games Maker 2 is a Antigua based 2021 Lagoon 42 Catamaran For Sale By Owner
This catamaran owner requires financial settlement only. No trades.
This seller is open to offers via CatamaranSite escrow.

S/V Games Maker 2 is a 2021 Lagoon 42 Owner’s Version (3 cabins) catamaran. We specified Games Maker 2 (GM2) for extended blue water cruising, with perhaps the highest specification of any L42 – see long list of major & minor professional upgrades. Our plans have changed (sadly due to ageing parents in UK) and we’re offering her for sale in superb condition, at an attractive price for her incredible spec.

Living onboard for less than 6 months a year (no pets/no smokers/never chartered), we sailed GM2 from the UK to the Med and then across the Atlantic with the ARC in Dec 2022, with Nestor Lopez who founded the Lagoon 42 Owners Forum on Facebook. He was so impressed with GM2 that he is refitting his own Lagoon 42 using GM2 as a blue-print.

Cruising northwards towards Antigua, St Maarten, BVI’s, Bahamas then possibly the Chesapeake, we’re relaxed about the timing of the sale itself, so long as it’s agreed while we’re still in the Caribbean. If desired, a new owner can take-over one of our haul out reservations outside the hurricane belt in May/June 2024 at Chesapeake (Cape St Charles) or Grenada where we hauled-out in 2023.

Keto Marine are the UK’s premier Lagoon engineers and fitted out the boat when new. They’ve confirmed they will be pleased to support future owners remotely and can connect to GM2 for diagnostics if required. We are also happy to personally provide a thorough handover – we sold our last 2 yachts (an Amel 54 and a Southerly 32) privately and the new owners (who are available as references if required) were delighted with the whole sales process and impeccably maintained condition of those yachts, just like GM2. Our Amel was sold to a buyer from the USA and we helped transfer the yacht registration from UK to USA easily. If you require, we can introduce a broker to complete all formalities.

The Lagoon 42  is a sleek, modern design. While retaining the main features of the latest generation of Lagoons, it shows us a new path. The elegant silhouette with new coach roof design emphasizes the powerful and dynamic nature of this new model.

A VPLP design , performance under sail. An ingenious deck layout: The mast moved further aft and the self-tacking jib, provide ease of handling and the ability to bring all operations together in one place. An ergonomic helm station at the coachroof bulkhead, offers many advantages including direct communication between the cockpit and saloon, improved circulation forward and aft of the helm station, direct access to the coach roof with easier access to the boom, a composite bimini with a sliding panel to ensure a good view of the sails, a closure panel for helm station safety when under way.

The cozy cockpit, with smooth, elegant curves, a single level from the aft platform to the saloon ensures excellent use of space and ease of circulation on board, a large glazed door the entire width of the coach roof provides access to the interior. The suspended steps at the transom provide a continuous wide platform worthy of a large vessel.
