Lagoon 42 2020 Catamaran For Sale.

This is a three-cabin Owners version. Conveniently located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Available for viewings now.

Never chartered, lovingly and regularly maintained to high standards. One owner/a couple since new, conservative sailors. Everything is in perfect working order and immaculate condition. This boat proved to be reliable and a comfortable blue water cruiser and live aboard.

The Lagoon 42 model is an ideal size for couples or family offering plenty of comfortable living accommodation both above and below deck, plenty of storage, perfect for relaxing and cruising in comfort whether it be for long or short cruising distances, anchoring or living in the marina.

This boat is easy to handle and simple to sail. All lines run back to the helm, with the mast moved further aft in this version and a self-tacking jib making easy single-handed sailing also.

The helm is elevated providing great visibility all around and at the same time remaining in easy communication with the cockpit. A hardtop bimini with a full helm enclosure creates great comfortable cruising and protection from all weather conditions, plus the slide open sun roof above with two windows ensures a good view of the sails and access to the coach roof via steps.

The cockpit is spacious, has plenty of cosy lounging space, a big table, comfortable cockpit cushions, a full enclosure that provides extra comfort and protection from all weather elements.

All on one level interconnected with a three-panel glass door entering into the spacious saloon. There is U-shaped galley (very handy on a passage) with plenty of counter space for preparing meals and sundowners.

The U-shaped galley is split, with a three-burner propane stove, a large single bay sink, an oven to starboard and front-loading refrigerator, plus a 100 litre top-loading freezer.

The large L-shaped settee, cushioned bench, and dining table provide plenty of room for guests, but when not entertaining, the dining table can be lowered down to form a large lounge seating area for relaxing, reading, napping or use as a double bed to accommodate guests.

There is plenty of storage space – in the settee, bench, and saloon floor allowing you to stock up on favourite food and beverage items for cruising between islands or passages. Panoramic windows in the salon allow you to capture fantastic views or ‘navigate from the sofa’ with 360 degree visibility of the outside.

This luxurious owner’s version features the entire starboard hull dedicated to the private master stateroom. The island bed aft is large and low for easy access from both sides of the bed. The large hull windows provide lots of light and visibility of the surroundings. Amidships, a desk, plenty of cupboards for storage create a well-managed area.

The owner head forward takes up a third of the hull, with a separate spacious shower compartment and comfortable private area.

In the port hull, there are two beautiful en-suite cabins. The aft berth is identical to the owner’s and next to it is a private head with a separate shower space. The forward cabin has a 3/4 island bed with plenty of room, with a private head and shower combination.

All rooms have large windows with plenty of light and ventilation, with mosquito nets and blackout blinds/curtains for a comfortable and luxurious living.

This boat is fully equipped with lots of extras installed for complete safety and comfort and has been lovingly maintained with no expense spared. She has 3 x Sunpower 330 watt rigid solar panels for a total of 1 KW situated on a bespoke stainless steel gantry which doubles as dinghy protection from the weather elements.

She offers low engine hours, immaculate condition, plus an impressive list of options including, upgraded square top mainsail, code zero with bowsprit, upgraded 57hp Yanmar engines, upgraded 3 blade folding props, water maker, washing machine, 3 electric heads, AIS, radar, forward scanner, upgraded 3000W inverter, 3 x  230amp AGM batteries (new march 2023) electric winch at helm, Iridium Go and much more.

Whether a couple or a family, this beauty is complete and ready for coastal cruising, off-grid living, or a circumnavigation. She is one of the most desirable cruising catamarans on the market today especially in the owners configuration!

The boat is in West Palm Beach Florida USA after an Atlantic crossing from Europe December 2022 via the Carribean and Bahamas.
