S/V Hakuna is a 2008 Lagoon 420 catamaran for sale by owner with the 4 cabin, 4 head layout. She is a completely autonomous blue water sailing yacht fully equipped for long ocean passages or for all year round cruises.
We have lived on Hakuna for the past 3 years traveling all over the Caribbean. Hakuna is a bluewater boat equipped with everything you need to live aboard from a watermaker to a dishwasher and washing machine. Hakuna is designed for comfort and relaxation. With four spacious cabins and four en-suite bathrooms, this catamaran can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests. The cabins are elegantly appointed with high-quality furnishings and fixtures, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The fully equipped galley offers all the amenities you need to prepare gourmet meals, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, and ample storage space for provisions.
The Lagoon 420 cockpit features a secure and dry seating area with a solid bimini top. Storage under the helm seat steps and the cockpit seat.
Lagoon 420’s feature large side decks and aft decks for easy access all around the boat. 13 opening hatches, 6 opening ports create excellent ventilation augmented by new fans throughout the boat. Outside, the Lagoon 420 features 6 fwd lockers, 4 are very large. Plenty of room for spare parts, which this boat comes loaded with.
S/V Hakuna is in very good condition and is extremely spacious for a 42 feet catamaran. The Lagoon 420 is a robust, reliable, comfortable and easy to sail vessel. Two strong and reliable Yanmar 75 HP engines run perfectly. With a total of 150 HP, they increase safety and are perfect for easy manoeuvring under any conditions.
