Offered for sale, the lovely S/V Shanti, a 2008 Lagoon 440, 3-cabin Owner’s version with flybridge. Meticulously maintained and cared for; Privately Owned – Never Chartered. We are only the second owner of this beautiful yacht and she has been lovingly maintained and upgraded as we have enjoyed nearly 5-years of sailing and exploring the Caribbean. US Flagged, she was carefully maintained by her first owner, who still keeps track of her with interest.

The owner’s berth includes the entire starboard hull transforming it into a luxury suite with upgraded comfy custom central queen-sized mattress, a/c, ample drawers, cupboards and storage, hanging closet, two closets with shelves, built-in washer/dryer, walk-in shower and electric toilet. Features also include a loveseat sofa, desk with storage, and large flat screen TV with brackets to allow for viewing at sofa or in bed, movies can be watched with the DVD player or with USB drive.

Port Hull features 1 Aft and 1 Forward berths each with a/c, 2 private heads and showers and electric toilets. Aft berth has a queen bed and the forward berth has a V-shaped full-size mattress, both with additional closets and storage space. Hallway between the port berths includes additional abundant pantry and storage space.

Both hulls feature large fixed windows bringing in lots of natural light and offering unequalled views of the outside while staying discrete. Optimal cabin ventilation is assured by numerous porthole and hatch openings.

Salon provides a 360 degree panoramic view with superb living space including interchangeable dining tables (2) or lower oval-shaped coffee table, wrap-around seating, navigation station, dry bar and a/c. The light oak Alpi woodwork and laminate wenge floor give a modern and relaxing feel.

The large L-shaped galley faces the cockpit and it has been designed to keep the chef engaged with visitors while cooking. Included are beautiful stainless countertops with 3 stainless steel sinks, 2 drawers, upgraded faucet, Eno 3-burner stove and ENO oven, microwave, 2 Vitrofrigo Stainless Steel front loading refrigerator/freezer C130RXD4 – F-1 4.7Cu.Ft (2018), and under sink pull out wastebasket.

The spacious aft cockpit is protected under a very sturdy built-in fiberglass bimini top. Passage to and from the salon and galley is safe and unhampered by steps or different levels. The large dining table can either be set in the salon or in the cockpit. It can also be stowed in above in a cleaver locker built in the cockpit bimini top. We have three tables that are interchangeable, 1 large dining table that came with the boat, 1 upgraded large varnished teak dining table that folds to allow for extra space (purchase in 2019), and 1 small table with short legs that allows for added space during cocktail nights.

The cockpit has ample space but is also cosy and private. There is ample storage in the cockpit as well. With a large double storage locker on port side of cockpit including beige synthetic resin countertop with wet bar – fish prep – cleanup sink. A third fridge is located under countertop which we use for ice cold bear and drinks. Genset locker is located under one of the the settee as well as storage and ventilation for two full sized propane tanks. And there are two other lockers under the settees for quick access to snorkel gear and cleaning supplies.

A 4th “crew cabin” entered from topside is located forward and port, a storage cabin is located on the forward starboard side and this is where we keep all of our bigger toys.
