Get residual income by keeping DRIFTER in charter or take her on a new adventure, the choice is yours.
DRIFTER is currently in charter in The Bahamas. She is welcome to stay in her current charter program or can be released with a 3 month notice after purchase. Owner would agree to give the notice immediately once she is under contract AND would block the boat off from further bookings for three months for “owner use” if so desired.
If you are looking to offset costs by having a boat in charter or looking for a wonderful family cruiser, this is the boat for you.
DRIFTER features 4 luxuriously appointed cabins with en-suite heads and both forepeaks are fitted with bunks. She is upgraded with 57hp engines, air conditioning, 13.5kva 110v generator, a hard-top bimini with windscreen, watermaker, dinghy with outboard, and solar… everything you need for a great charter boat or a home-away-from-home.
Water toys such as kayak and SUP are not included in the sale but may be provided if the boat is put into charter.
The Lagoon 46 has replaced the Lagoon 450. The latest boat from the Lagoon shipyard, a 46-foot catamaran whose 2020 model has the difficult task of replacing one of the best-sellers in the history of the yard, the much-loved Lagoon 450.
The new Lagoon 46 promises to be a seaworthy boat with an enhanced sail plan for a better sail area/displacement ratio which gives better performance under sail. The 46 also offers the aft-rig (dear to naval architects VPLP) which helps with sail handling maneuvers and provides a large fore-triangle which offers a wide choice of headsails that gives a real boost to your Lagoon.

On board the new Lagoon 46, luxury is not just an impression. luxury is space, the result of enlightened design that pushes back cruising boundaries. Designed in the spirit of the new Lagoon generation, the 46 footer forms a natural bridge between land and sea. As on all of Lagoon’s new-generation catamarans, the 46’s rigging comes directly from VPLP design’s research and its more than 30 years’ experience at the peak of multi-hull ocean racing.

Better performance: Bringing the mast further aft reduces the length of the boom, increases the mainsail aspect ratio and thus its efficiency. The fore triangle incorporates a jib for sailing to windward as well as several downwind sails. Centering the masses limits pitching and eases the boat’s motion.

Easier: The reduced size of the boom facilitates handling. The large jib sail is self-tacking, so there is no need to touch anything when tacking.
