Not For Sale In US Waters To A US Resident

The Leopard 40, built in South Africa by Robertson and Caine have an excellent reputation. They were designed by Morelli & Melvin, naval architects, who are specialists of prestigious multihulls, including the America Cup boats. They are fast and easy-to-maneuver when single-handed and her fine entry bows allow the Leopard 40 to tack under mainsail alone in less than 8 knots of wind. Her winches are ingeniously placed near the helm for easy handling.

The Galley is practical with large cabinets for storage and a countertop which facilitates the passage of dishes to the table in the cockpit. Dining accommodates eight people sitting comfortably, while leaving free access to the cockpit. The cockpit transitions to the aft steps which aid with easy entry in/out of the water. In this configuration there is enough room to sleep ten or for a smaller crew to spread out.

These boats are light and fast. The lighter weight allows her to ride easily over waves and her sharp bows and clean underwater profile cut cleanly as well as minimize drag. Visibility is excellent over the coach roof and a sliding roof in the hard cockpit bimini makes it easy to keep track of sail shape.

Fully loaded and ready to go cruising! Continuously maintained and upgraded Leopard 40 whose attentive owners have cruised her through the US East Coast, Bahamas, and the Caribbean. She has all the standard features of the 4-cabin, 2-head Leopard 40 that won Cruising World’s “Boat of the Year Award,” plus all the cruising essentials and improvements that allow her to be totally self-sufficient and comfortable for coastal and offshore cruising.

Our unforgettable two years as a family of five on SeaSparrow have come to an end. SeaSparrow is a proven cruising ready vessel, beautiful, spacious and comfortable with lots of space to now set sail with her new owner.

(Please note the walkthrough video was a boat-school project done in French class but it should have English subtitles.)
