This Boat Owner requires financial settlement only ... trades will not be considered!

S/V Speculation is a USVI based 2011 Leopard 44 catamaran for sale by owner. The Leopard 44, with it’s additional forward cockpit, is at the forefront of modern catamaran design. In addition, the boat offers an integral hardtop bimini, protecting both the forward and aft cockpit, while also creating a comfortable, and enjoyable additional living space. A protected raised helm is featured, making this boat easy to handle.

She has 4 double cabins, with the fore cabins containing and additional single birth in each forepeak, a fully equipped galley with a new fridge, all necessary equipment and is ready to go.

These boats are the latest design from Robertson and Caine who also include deep, narrow groove hulls which enable the catamaran to sail as close to the wind as many a monohull. If you’ve ever sailed one of these excellent Leopard 44’s you’ll know brilliantly they handle, if not, well.. you’re in for treat. Of course, it goes without saying that her shallow draft provides great access to anchorages too shallow for a monohull.

The Leopard 44 represents the new generation of cruising catamarans built by Robertson and Caine which focuses on innovation, performance, and comfort. With clever blending of the salon living space with both the forward and aft cockpits results in the outdoor spaces totally integrated, becoming a true extention of the salon.

S/V Speculation was on land in St Kitt during both hurricanes Irma and Maria and was unaffected. This boat was owned by its current owner while still in the Sun Sail charter program. Turned over in 100% operational condition and never without an ASA certified instructor/USCG Licensed Captain aboard over the last 4 years. Recently rebuilt Generator and both Saildrives.

She Sleeps 12 people. 2 each in aft cabin. 3 each in double and single berth forward cabins and 2 in convertible salon. 4 heads, 5 showers (1 at transom). Of course a fully equipped galley, with two 7 gallon hot water tanks and all necessary equipment. The interior decor is cherrywood laminates with white panels and light-colored upholstery.

Electronics and navigation include: Compass, VHF, Wind speed/direction – Raymarine ST60+ and Windex Autopilot – Raymarine ST6002 & Depthsounder Raymarine C95 Chartplotter Stereo with Forward, Interior & Cockpit speakers (3 pairs). She is ready to go.
