Leopard 48 (Caribbean)

S/V Aboat Time is a 2015 Leopard 48 (built 2014) catamaran, for sale by owner. She was awarded Boat Of The Year for Best Full-Size Multihull, designed by Simonis-Voogd and built by the veteran South African yard of Robertson and Caine.

The Leopard 48 is a perfect blend of style and functionality with a raised helm station with panoramic views, versatile indoor and outdoor living space with the light ash interior and our favorite, the forward cockpit. 4 cabins, 4 heads layout. Built strong for bluewater sailing, bow and stern both have sealed bulkheads for safety in the event of a collision.

Equipped with twin Yanmar 57HP engines, Northern Lights generator, Victron inverter and Raymarine electronics.

Currently in charter in the BVI at Seabbatical Long Term Charters which is a well run charter company we are very satisfied with. They would like to continue having her in the fleet, but this will be up to the new owners. We are very flexible on when she can be handed over, from immediately to when she can be taken out of the fleet beginning  of August. Being in charter ensures a well-maintained boat and certified periodically for bluewater cruising.

Important to note is that she was hurricane damaged in 2017 and repaired and refitted before entering into charter in 2019. That included new engines, new standing rigging and a lot more. Sails and stackpack are new recently.
