The Manta 40 “Notre Mason: offers an excellent blend of performance, aesthetics, accommodation and value in a cruising catamaran. Hull, deck, and structural bulkheads are composite construction utilizing isopthalic and vinylester resins and vacuum bagging. The hull is solid fiberglass below the waterline.

This is a true blue water vessel that is comfortable, spacious, and a real pleasure to sail. Comfortable owners cabin port-side with walk-in shower. Manta catamarans have developed and maintained a loyal following of knowledgeable cruisers. These yachts are known for their sound construction, excellent performance, and ease of sailing by one person.

The Manta 40 is an upgraded version of the Manta 38 by extending the hull length for better performance and handling, with added headroom and other improvements. Production started in 1995 continuing to build the 40 with Endeavour in Clearwater, Florida.

Manta Catamarans utilize the best yacht manufacturing technology available, to offer a vessel that is ocean capable and ready for serious offshore cruising, with a minimum of maintenance.

Captain Will Miller is President and CEO of The Multihull Company. Will grew up in Virginia and learned to sail in the Chesapeake Bay. He has lived in Charleston since 2001 and knows the city well. Throughout his life Will’s parents have owned a variety of sail, ski, and fishing boats in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries, the Carolinas, and the Caribbean. Family vacations included chartering in the Virgin Islands, St. Lucia, the Bahamas, and Jamaica. Will developed a love of the water at a very young age and chose to pursue a career as a captain after graduating from the College of Charleston in 2005. As a lifelong sailor Captain Will has traveled extensively throughout the waters of the United States and Caribbean. He has been a certified sailing instructor and licensed US Coast Guard Captain since 2006.
