S/V Wishing Whale is a like-new 2017 Nautitech Open 40 catamaran, for sale by owner.
The Nautitech 40 has been a great success from the moment it was launched in May 2003. Fast, easy to handle and amazingly spacious (sleeps up to 10), she is a role-model in her category.
The major point of strength of the Nautitech 40 Catamaran is the quality of its hull, which is finely balanced between habitability and speed. The main innovation of Nautitech 40 is its rigid bimini roof, which protects the entire cockpit from sun and sea spray. A sliding roof panel allows you to let in as much light and fresh air you desire.
The Nautitech 40 has a large panoramic view windshield, while a sliding picture window offer easy access from the saloon to the cockpit. The indoor areas are bright and roomy with an abundance of storage space. The salon seats 10 people.
Nautitech catamarans are known all over for their spaciousness, comfort, conviviality, safety, aesthetics and exceptional construction quality. A 40.2 version was launched in 2005 in an evolution of the proven Nautitech 40.
Whishing Whale comes with Lithium, Solar, and Stern Solar Arch. She has A/C-Heat that’s 12V and runs off batteries as well as 12v watermaker. Just over 500 engine hours each engine. Never chartered and no hurricane damage.
For colder climates, Wishing Whale has separate diesel heaters. Everything you need to cruise and ready to go! We are only selling her because we want to purchase a larger sailing catamaran.
