S/V Shula is a 2021 Nautitech Open 40, 3-cabin master version for sale by owner. Shula is completely equipped for off grid living, including Lithium, lots of solar, a watermaker and a downwind sail. She sails better than other modern production catamarans and has an amazing living space.
The Nautitech Open 40 has been a great success from the moment it was launched in May 2003. Fast, easy to handle and amazingly spacious, she is a role-model in her category. The major point of strength of the Nautitech Open 40 Catamaran is the quality of its hull, which is finely balanced between habitability and speed. The Nautitech Open 40 has a large panoramic view windshield, while a sliding picture window offer easy access from the saloon to the cockpit. The indoor areas are bright and roomy with an abundance of storage space.
We bought her new from the factory in La Rochelle in October 2021 and sailed her across the Atlantic. We upgraded her extensively. She has low engine hours (<500).
Now our trip is coming to an end and Shula is looking for new owners who will love her as much as we do. The boat is ready for immediate hand over and is completely prepared to be sailed away.
