This Spronk 50 was custom built for its original owners to cruise the Bahamas. These Spronk catamarans are renowned for their excellent sailing performance and many of them have found their way into the day charter market as is the case with this one.

Rubaiyat was used in day charter in St Martin until it was purchased by the son of the original builder who has acquired and restored several his father’s boats and currently owns of 4 of them. It was restored to a very high standard with every part of the boat being inspected, reworked and repaired where needed. The rebuild could not have been done by anyone better qualified or motivated to bring it back to excellent condition. The refurbishment in 2016 included every system on the boat with almost every piece of equipment except the masts being replaced. New yanmar engine and saildrives, new sails, new rigging, new plumbing, new wiring, new batteries, new upholstery, new electronics all 2016. Currently registered for 40 passengers.

This boat is ready to start making money and can load passengers directly from the beach as seen in the pictures.

Grenada has become one of the Caribbean’s premier yachting destinations and with over 10 years’ experience living here I can provide a brokerage service which has previously not been available in the Southern Caribbean. With great marinas and modern haul-out facilities able to handle boats up to 37ft Beam and up to 242 tons this is an ideal location to buy or sell your boat. Having bought and sold boats through the Catamaran Company, I have a unique perspective of how important choosing the right company is in making the buying or selling of your boat a great experience.
