S/V Susan M Jackson is a 2001 TRT 1200 GT catamaran, for sale by owner.
The TRT 1200 GT is a very fast Open bridgedeck catamaran with a racing PHRF rating of -20 to -25, similar to the Corsair F31 trimarans. The original owner used her mainly for racing but we’ve configured her into more of a tropical cruising platform.
She is very lightweight utilizing divinycell foam core, triaxial glass with vinylester resin, and carbon placed in the higher stressed areas. Her lightweight ICW friendly carbon fiber wing mast and carbon fiber crossbeam keep the pitching and motion to a minimum. That coupled with a very high bridgedeck clearance give her the “magic carpet” ride.
All lines are led back to the central helm making her easy to handle and the visibility from the helm is 360 degree unobstructed making her a joy to sail.
Port hull layout:
Starting aft, salon with 2-8‘ long bench seats with a table in the middle. Midships is the galley and a queen sized bunk on the bridgedeck. Forward is storage and a 8 long double birth.
Starboard hull layout:
Starting aft, head with sink and composter. Chart table with seat opposite. Hanging locker. Midships master dressing area with seat and queen sized berth on bridgedeck. Separate shower forward and forward of that an 8 double bunk.
