PLANNING TO SAIL SOON? Buy this boat!

Currently sailing back to Grenada from Hawaii, Amanecer is a proven performance, bluewater catamaran built in South Africa.

She has a landing platform across her stern that extends the outdoor living space at anchor and can be used as dinghy storage underway. The wide sugar scoops allow for easy boarding with a sturdy swim ladder for access from the water.

All lines lead to the cockpit for single-handed sailing. The plank strip on the generous trampoline provides a firm walkway for anchoring or catching a mooring ball. Two teak pulpit seats grace the bow for dolphin watching or wave riding adventure! There are two built-in steps from the foredeck to the cabin top in addition to a solid catwalk down the center of the bimini for complete access to the boom and solar panels very rare option but so handy!

There is a cozy cockpit area with a custom cocktail table. The galley is equipped with a four burner stove and large oven. The sink is stainless steel with a separate built-in drying rack. A breakfast bar divides the galley from the saloon area. Comfortable table seating arrangements for eight with a folding table for entertainment options.

On each side of the stove are the entry ways to the guest cabins one queen-size bed in the aft cabin with the forward cabin converted into a work room. The other side is the owners cabin with queen size bed, office space in the middle and a full size bathroom aft with seperate shower. There is access to the quarter berth through the aft head. This is addional cabin space with access outside to the cockpit. Great for communicating with the helmsman when underway!

Voted: “Best blended performance, safety, and comfort into two hulls” by Cruising World Magazine.

This yacht checks all the boxes! Trulya turn-key yacht with superior craftmanship, attention to detail and very nicely equipped. The current owner (since 2017) is ready for a bigger boat.

The Voyage 440 is a performance, luxury, bluewater cruising catamaran. The spacious galley up combines with the saloon and cockpit to form an exceptional entertainment area. All cabins have queen-size beds. This Owner’s version layout offer three queen-size cabins, (One cabin is a converted work shop) and two heads. The deck has been designed for safety and shorthanded sailing with all controls led aft to the coachroof winches. The 440 also features a generous performance sail plan. Chris @ The Multihull Company

By Chris @ The Multihull Company

Chris Rundlett’s first sailing adventure was on a small Sunfish owned by the U.S. Coast Guard where his father was stationed in North Dakota. There was plenty of wind – but not much water! Since then he dreamed of bigger horizons and sailed whenever he had the chance. Chris is a true son of a sailor. Chris started his maritime career teaching USCG Captains Licensing courses in the Pacific Northwest. This lead to teaching sailing in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. In 2008, Chris started working with a sailing school in the Caribbean – St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He enjoyed sailing in these exquisite waters so much, he decided to stay. In 2013, Chris started the premier American Sailing Association affiliate school in the Caribbean, LTD Sailing – “Living the Dream!”, with his partner Chrystal Young. They have now opened a second location in the Grenadines at the Port Louis Marina, Grenada partnering with The Multihull Company and Five Oceans Marine Group. Chris and Chrystal found that many of their sailing school students were interested in buying boats – making this a natural partnership. Grenada is a great cruising destination with its southerly latitude, excellent marine services and active cruising community. Please call Chris or Chrystal if you would like to discuss the advantages of buying or selling your yacht in the Caribbean. Stop by the office at Prickly Bay Marina to say ‘Hi’ next time you are in Grenada!
