Step aboard S/V Out Of Office in Village Cay and the first impression is one of quiet quality — the SeaDek is soft underfoot in all the right places, the stainless gleams, and everything from the swim platforms to the engine rooms suggests a boat that has been genuinely cared for. Ted Reshetiloff of BVI Yacht Sales walks through this 2016 Voyage 650 PC, a 65-foot power catamaran that’s been thoughtfully upgraded and is ready to charter or cruise.
Deck Living, Top to Bottom
The aft deck sets the tone: SeaDek cushioning underfoot, large stainless boarding ladders on both hulls suitable for stepping in with fins on, and hot-and-cold freshwater showers for rinsing off after a swim. Between the hulls, a hydraulic tender lift currently cradles a 14-foot AB — soon to be replaced with a brand-new 2025 AB aluminum console tender powered by a Yamaha 70 and fitted with a Garmin package. When the tender is off, the lift doubles as a broad swim platform for lounging at anchor.
Up top is arguably the boat’s best seat in the house. Phifertex mesh screens knock down the sun’s heat while letting the trade winds through, and the space is furnished with dual Vitrifrigo fridge/freezers, a bar, and paddleboard stowage aft. It’s shaded, breezy, and gives a commanding view of the whole vessel — a natural gathering spot underway or at anchor. Forward of that lounge sits the helm, with dual Raymarine screens, electronic throttles for the twin Yanmars, and a Vetus bow thruster. A Raymarine camera system feeds views from both engine rooms and two stern cameras, giving the captain excellent situational awareness for docking or anchoring, with or without crew. Ahead of the helm, another sun deck offers cushioned loungers with drink holders for anyone chasing UV.
Inside: Salon, Galley, and Accommodations
The salon centers on a striking spiral staircase — a signature Voyage touch — that connects to the upper deck. To port, a well-stocked bar with refrigeration flanks a dining table that comfortably seats twelve, matching the boat’s 12-passenger rating. Nine individually controlled air conditioning units keep every zone cool, and most have been recently replaced. Twin Raymarine plotters at the inside station display charting alongside tank levels and vessel systems.
The galley is genuinely built for entertaining a full complement: a large induction cooktop, four generous pull-out refrigerator/freezer drawers, and enough counter and stowage to prep and provision for a dozen guests. A breakfast bar makes it a sociable space for morning coffee or menu planning with the chef.
Accommodation is on the layout charter operators love: six cabins in total plus a captain’s cabin and a crew cabin. The four main guest cabins each feature a queen berth, en-suite head with shower, individually controlled A/C, USB and 110V outlets, and both opening hatches and portlights with shades and screens. A day head sits just outside the port forward cabin, and the captain has a double berth adjacent to the main electrical panel.
Mechanical Confidence
The engine rooms are where Out Of Office‘s pedigree of care really shows. A pair of Yanmar 8LV diesels — with roughly 1,968 hours — sit in spotless spaces: hoses treated, no whiff of oil or coolant, steering gear tidy. Flanking them are two Northern Lights 20 kW generators. The starboard unit was recently replaced and has just over 500 hours; the port unit was installed brand new the week of the walkthrough. That’s effectively two new gensets and two well-loved main engines — a strong mechanical foundation for a boat this size.
