S/V Emmanuel: A Turn-Key 2023 Privilege 510 Ready to Cruise

A lightly used, fully equipped Signature 510 with the coveted three-cabin owner's layout — offered by Andrew Hodgdon of The Multihull Company.

Some catamarans are built for charter fleets. The Privilege Signature 510 was built for owners who plan to actually live aboard and cross oceans — and S/V Emmanuel, a 2023 example presented by Andrew Hodgdon of The Multihull Company, is one of the most thoroughly equipped examples you’re likely to find on the market. With less than two years of sea time and a change of circumstances forcing a sale, she arrives with the new-boat kinks worked out and virtually every desirable option ticked.

Built at the Privilege Yard in France, the Signature 510 is designed to balance serious offshore capability with the volume, finish quality, and livability of yachts twice her price. Emmanuel is configured in the three-cabin owner’s version, with a full-beam master suite forward that spans both hulls.

Sail Plan and Deck

The entire inventory is OneSails Hydranet high-performance cloth. The standout is the Code 0 package — an 860-square-foot D-Cut sail served by two dedicated Lewmar 65 electric sheet winches. The genoa runs on an electric Profurl furler, and foldable mast steps take you up to the first spreader for easy radar access. From the helm, three electric Lewmar 65s manage 14 sail control lines, making short-handed sailing genuinely practical on a 51-foot catamaran.

On deck, synthetic teak covers the cockpit, aft platform, and transoms. A fiberglass hardtop shelters the helm, and the aft cockpit becomes a proper outdoor living room with a foldable real teak dining table, a Napoleon Prestige Pro propane grill, and a reclining sunbathing mattress to starboard. Full cockpit and helm enclosures button everything down when weather turns, and a comprehensive set of fitted marine canvas covers protects the boat at rest.

Interior and Galley

The salon is bright and panoramic, with an electric lifting table that converts from dining height to coffee table to a spare berth. A 43-inch smart TV, Fusion Apollo audio with zone control, and six Caframo fans round out the comfort features. To starboard, a raised chart table hosts a B&G Zeus 19-inch display — the navigation command center — alongside breaker panels and system controls.

The galley punches well above its weight class. Miele appliances throughout: four-burner gas stove, combination microwave/convection oven, and built-in dishwasher. Refrigeration is genuinely extensive, with Frigonautica drawer units, a 130-liter stainless two-drawer fridge, a full-height fridge and freezer, and a further 160-liter fridge. An Amway eSpring filter and a Spot Zero reverse osmosis system look after drinking water.

Accommodations

The full-beam master forward is the showpiece: bright, private, and beautifully finished, with an en-suite head that opens to the cabin or closes off for full privacy, a 43-inch smart TV in the library bulkhead, dedicated Fusion audio (yes, in the shower too), and individual climate control. The two aft guest cabins each have their own private head with separate shower stall — an unusual luxury at this length — and the port side adds a day head. A front-opening washer-dryer completes the liveaboard picture.

Systems Built for Blue Water

The engineering brief here was self-sufficiency. Twin Yanmar 80 hp diesels with shaft drives spin four-blade feathering Max-Props. An 11 kW diesel genset lives in a sound enclosure, backed by a 1,040 Ah house bank, 880 watts of solar, and dual-voltage 230 V / 115 V circuits with dedicated inverters. A Dessalator watermaker delivers 15 gph, and a Webasto BlueCool 50,000 BTU chilled-loop system handles climate throughout.

Ground tackle is redundant and serious — a 99-pound stainless Ultra on the primary bow roller and an 88-pound galvanized Delta on the secondary, each with its own Lewmar V5 windlass. Connectivity spans Starlink, a KVH TracPhone V30, and a 4G/5G router with mast-mounted antennas. A nine-camera security system, including engine-bay cameras and two 360-degree night vision units, is reviewable remotely.

The tender is a fully optioned Williams Sportjet 345 with 90 hp jet drive, color-matched hull, and teak decking, launched by electric stainless davits. Six Lumishore underwater LEDs finish the picture at anchor.
