S/V Nils is a 2021 Fountaine Pajot 40 Isla catamaran – extremely well maintained, never chartered, low engine hours, and the perfect combination of performance and comfort.
This is one of the best outfitted Fountaine Pajot in this size range on the market and on the lower end of the pricing range.
After extensive research between Lagoon, Leopard, Nautitech, and Fountaine Pajot – we decided to go with a Fountaine Pajot and so glad we did.
We are the second owner and have 2 kids so it is extremely important to have a safe, strong, and secure catamaran (the first owner also had 2 kids so safety was crucial). S/V Nils is definitely that boat (for example, there are two autopilots installed in case one fails).
Featuring 3 cabins and 3 bathroom, she was equipped for a world tour in 2022. One of the heads was converted to storage and had been amazing having the extra space. .
Maintenance is crucial with a family on board and everything works perfectly and is kept in very good condition.
You may have noticed in the photos a teal set of cushions and a gray set of cushions. When the boat was purchased a second set of teal cushion covers were made and the originals have been stored in a compression bag since the boat was purchased. The original cushion covers still look brand new and have no issues (and make the boat almost look brand new when they were put on for the photos).
She is ready to sail without any work to be done. So pack your bags and enjoy!
Nils is currently in Nadi, Fiji at Vuda Marina. I can honestly say after cruising the Mediterranean and Caribbean extensively (pleasure and as a charter captain), Fiji and the South Pacific is by far my favorite location to cruise.
