This 2003 Leopard 42, designed by Simonis-Voogd Design and built by Robertson & Caine in Cape Town, is shown under sail with a 2013 Doyle full-batten mainsail with slab reefing and a 2010 Doyle 110% genoa, with a 2015 spinnaker for downwind sailing.
Deck Photos
The deck layout includes 2017 trampolines, forward bow seats, two large forward hatches over the storage holds, an anchor windlass hatch, six substantial mooring cleats, a swim ladder, and two large aft lazarettes. The cockpit shows a hardtop with a three-sided enclosure, a large seating area with a cockpit table, aft roll-down sun shades, and a stainless steel dinghy davit.

The galley-up salon has a U-shaped settee that seats 6 with a convertible table, Corian counter tops, a double tub sink, a 2017 Seafrost freezer/refrigerator, and a 2020 Force 10 oven with two-burner stove. To starboard, the nav station includes a flip-top chart table, instrumentation and electrical panels with circuit breakers/monitors, and storage in overhead and lower cabinetry.

Three bathrooms have Jabsco toilets with a pressured fresh water system heated by two 6 gallon water heaters, and one bathroom has been converted into a laundry room with a Zeny washing machine.

Electrical features include 2019 six 100 watt solar panels with three solar-power controllers, a 2015 Xantrex 1000 watt inverter/charger, a 2019 six-battery Trojan T-105 house bank, 50 amp shore power, numerous 110v outlets, and (2) 16000 BTU air conditioner/reverse cycle heat units; boatyard views reflect the boat recently put on the hard in Virginia USA.
